Creekside Montessori School (CMS) is a mission-based preschool fulfilling at minimum 20% of enrollment through tuition assistance (scholarships). Montessori education fosters independent learning and follows the child in their development.

CMS serves an economically diverse community and provides high quality Montessori learning environments that meet the developmental needs of the whole child.

After you have been invited to fill out an Enrollment Agreement from Anne Estes, Head of School, please request a Tuition Assistance Application that we will send you as a Google Form. This application is required for all families that are seeking assistance through CCAP, Think Small, CMS, and/or a combination.

In addition, we ask tuition assistance families to follow these steps in order to enroll at CMS:

  1. See if you qualify for an Early Learning Scholarship through the State of Minnesota. These are available to families earning 185% or less of the Federal Poverty Rate who are enrolled at schools like CMS that have 4-Star Parent Aware status with the Department of Human Services.
    • If you live in Hennepin or Ramsey Counties, go to Think Small Early Learning Scholarships to apply. Instructions available in several languages.
    • If you live in Carver, Dakota, or Scott counties, call Families First of Minnesota: 1-888-450-2773 or go to Families First to apply.
    • If you live in Anoka or Washington counties, call Anoka County Community Action Program: 763-783-4711 or go to their Early Learning Scholarship website to apply.
  2. See if you qualify for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and apply, then send us the documentation. The CMS Scholarship Fund supports scholarships for families on CCAP or the CCAP wait list. CCAP is administered through the county you live in. Usually, you start by calling the county CCAP's phone number. Here are the CCAP websites for Hennepin County and Ramsey County.

Our Family Outreach Coordinator can support you with your application(s). Please contact Laura Fritz at laurafritz@cmsmpls.org for more information.
